Post 5: Food
There's
nothing like being hungry and eating your favorite food. Well...
my favorite food is... "empanadas".
I love empanadas. Mum used to make them with
lots of chopped meat, fresh chopped white onions, and some spices. Her
speciality was a soft dough and a steady oven.
Empanadas are
not a healthy meal but there are ingredients and ways to prepare them that
could make them less caloric. However, excess is bad.
What is fascinating and exciting about empanadas is that they can be eaten for breakfast, appetizer, main course, and some empanadas are even dessert. In general, I can really say that empanadas are very versatile foods. You can eat them on the go, at home, taking a picnic with friends or simply going to the nearer supermarket and getting some, they are the best food in the world. However, I still miss my mum's empanadas, they are the best ever!
